Vocational Prep Program

Thursday, Aug 3rd & 10th from 1:00-5:00pm

Friday, August 4th & 11th from 8:00am - 12:00pm Featuring Guest Assistant, Sonika Singh M.S., CCC-SLP

This is a 4 hour vocational preparation program focusing exclusively on exploring, finding, and working a job. Together we will build a portfolio for potential employers, work on job-readiness skills, do mock interviews, and learn important self-advocacy skills. Participants will also identify potential job or volunteer sites that are interesting to them, and work with RISE to make connections and develop employment readiness skills for those specific sites.

• Skills targeted: employment readiness, job skills, self-advocacy, language development around employment, executive functioning skills

Location: Drop off and Pick up at RISE’s DuPont Circle Office, with community-based opportunities during program

Cost: $175 per session
