Board & Card Game Social Group
This is a social group focusing on playing your favorite games, trying new ones, and spending time with friends!
Skills targeted: social participation, leisure exploration, motor skills
$25 per session or $80 for all 4 sessions
Arts & Crafts Social Group
This is a social group focusing on arts and crafts - draw, paint, paper maché, and create cool crafts with friends!
Skills targeted: social participation, leisure exploration, motor skills
$25 per session or $80 for all 4 sessions
Museum Mornings
This is a community-based group where we will explore a museum, learn cool facts, and spend time with friends.
Skills targeted: community navigation, self-advocacy, social participation
$50 per outing or $175 for all 4 outings
Day Programs
Community-based groups practicing community navigation, life skills such as grocery shopping & meal prep, job-readiness skills, and exploring the DC community.
Skills targeted: self-care, life skills, community navigation, social participation
Half-Day Program - $125 per session
Full-Day Program - $200 per session
Vocation Prep Program
Vocational preparation program focusing exclusively on exploring, finding, and working a job. We will build a portfolio for potential employers, work on job-readiness skills, do mock interviews, and learn important self-advocacy skills.
Skills targeted: employment readiness, job skills, self-advocacy, language development around employment, executive functioning skills

Movie Night on August 8th
This is a special end - of - summer event for participants to watch a new movie on the big screen, eat some popcorn, and enjoy the movies with friends!

Museum Family Day on August 10th
Join RISE as we head to the National Museum of African American History and Culture as a group. We will spend our time together exploring the museum, meeting new families and friends, and showcasing some of the supports and visuals participants have used in the summer semester during community outings.
